Wear with care
Put jewelry on after applying perfume, lotions and cosmetics. Handle chains, clasps and settings gently, and avoid pulling, bending or friction against hard surfaces. Remove your pieces before exercise, swimming, showering and contact with pool chemicals or household cleaners.
After moisture or perspiration
Remove your jewelry after sweating. Gently blot away moisture with a soft, dry, non-abrasive cloth rather than rubbing or polishing. Allow each piece to dry fully before putting it away. If residue remains, contact us for guidance specific to your piece before using any cleaning product.
Store separately
Keep dry pieces individually in soft pouches or separate compartments to limit scratches and tangling. Fasten chains before storing, and choose a dry place away from humidity, direct sunlight and heat.
Care follows the piece
Materials and finishes vary. Gold-plated brass, zinc-based pieces, gold-plated stainless steel and pieces with pearls should not automatically receive the same cleaning treatment. Until we confirm the appropriate method for your specific piece, avoid soaking, abrasive cloths, polishing compounds, chemical dips and ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Contact us before attempting to remove marks or buildup.
Where an Amira set is specifically described as water-resistant, that description applies to that product only. It does not mean waterproof or extend to every Espoir piece. We still recommend removing jewelry before swimming or exposure to pool chemicals and drying it after moisture.
A note on sensitive skin
Skin sensitivities vary. Do not assume a piece is nickel-free or hypoallergenic unless its product information explicitly confirms this. If irritation occurs, remove the jewelry and stop wearing it. For material questions, contact us before purchasing or wearing a piece.
